NDIS REFERRALS
Find an NDIS provider contact
Start with your needs and preferences
Explore a provider conversation
Capital Referral Network can help NDIS participants and authorised supporters make enquiries with external service providers. Tell us the support you are seeking, where it is needed and how you would like the provider to contact you. We can use these details to seek a relevant introduction, subject to provider capacity and your permission.
You choose whether to speak with a provider and whether to enter a service agreement. A referral does not change your plan, increase funding or establish that a support can be claimed. The provider must explain its service, registration status where relevant, prices, travel charges and cancellation terms. We encourage you to consider how the service relates to your goals and funded supports and to ask questions before committing to an ongoing arrangement.
Your choice and control
An introduction gives you an opportunity to ask questions. You can choose to speak with one provider, consider another option or stop the referral. Tell us if a particular business should not receive your details. If you need support to understand a proposed introduction, we can recordthe communication arrangements you request and involve an authorised supporter with your permission.
Protect resident and worker information
You do not have to sign an agreement immediately after receiving a call. Ask for the provider’s terms in a format you can use and take time to understand them. Discuss how staff are selected, what happens when a worker is absent and how you can raise concerns. A commercial referral relationship should be explained where it applies. Payment arrangements must not limit your ability to make a voluntary decision about the supports you receive.
