How We’re Paid Page
A referral business is only trustworthy if it’s honest about money. Capital Referral Network may receive a referral commission, fee, or other benefit from a professional when an introduction results in an engagement or qualifying transaction. Here’s exactly how it works.
We don’t charge clients a referral fee, booking fee, or subscription. Where applicable, the professional or their business pays the agreed referral commission under a separate arrangement with us, from their own remuneration. It is never added to your bill.
A commission is generally payable only when the referral meets the conditions set out in the applicable written referral agreement, typically when you engage the professional or, in finance, take up a product or service as a result of the referral. An introduction that doesn’t lead to an engagement generates no commission.
Depending on the arrangement, a commission may be a fixed amount, a percentage of professional fees, a percentage of contract value, or another agreed referral benefit. No single rate applies to every professional or service.
Before or at the point of every referral, we tell you we may receive a commission and explain the arrangement. Professionals must also meet any additional disclosure obligations that apply to their own services. Ask us at any time — the answer will be yes, and we’ll explain it.
A commission doesn’t entitle us to influence the advice a professional gives you, and it doesn’t change their duties to you. A referral commission also doesn’t guarantee a professional is suitable for every enquiry, and you remain free to consider other providers.
- Clients pay us nothing.
- We always disclose.
