NDIS REFERRALS
Employment and support organisation
Discuss work goals and the services that help organise support
Finding and keeping work
Employment related support needs can include building workplace routines, practising communication, preparing for interviews or learning tasks in a way that suits the person. Tell us the type of employment assistance you want to discuss and any preferences about location, hours or communication. We can seek an introduction to an external provider offering relevant
services within its scope.
The provider should clarify which supports it offers, how progress is reviewed and how its services interact with other employment programs. Disability related capacity building andordinary recruitment assistance may follow different funding arrangements. A referral does not guarantee a job or confirm that every résumé, training or job search expense is NDIS funded. Ask for a written explanation of the service, proposed charges and funding basis before starting.
Coordination and plan services
Some participants seek a support coordinator, plan manager or another provider to help with a specific part of their support arrangements. These roles have different responsibilities. Tell us which service you are seeking and what you would like help with. If you are unsure of the role, we can record a general enquiry without presenting a funding or professional recommendation.
The receiving provider should explain its service, eligibility and registration requirements, fees and any relationship with other businesses. Ask how conflicts of interest are managed and whether you can choose providers outside any associated group. Capital Referral Network does not become your support coordinator or plan manager simply by arranging an introduction. Do not send portal passwords, access codes or account credentials when making an enquiry, even if another person offers to submit the request for you.
