FINANCIAL REFERRALS
Your financial referral enquiry
Know the recipient and the information being shared
If a further introduction is suggested
A receiving business may identify that another appropriately authorised business is better placed to handle your enquiry. Ask it to explain the identity and role of the proposed recipient, why the introduction is being suggested and whether any fee or benefit applies. You should understand what information will be passed on and the basis on which it will be shared before an onward introduction occurs.
Permission to contact one business is not intended as open permission to circulate your details throughout an unrestricted network. Capital Referral Network’s proposed process identifies the recipient of its own introduction. If another business later proposes to refer you further, that business must manage its own legal, privacy and disclosure obligations. You can ask to contact the next business yourself rather than having your details sent on automatically.
Information for your initial enquiry
Please provide your name, preferred contact method, contact details, state or territory and the general purpose of the introduction. If you are enquiring for a business, include its trading name and your role. If you are enquiring for another person, explain your relationship and authority without uploading private records. You can tell us a suitable contact time and any communication assistance you need.
This is a request for an introduction, not a credit application or a recommendation about a financial product. Before the introduction, review the named receiving business, the information to be shared and any applicable referral disclosure. You can decide whether to proceed. Optional marketing contact is a separate choice and is not required to submit an enquiry.
