Approved quality auditor enquiries
NDIS providers may need an approved quality auditor for the audit specified by their registration requirements. Tell us the stage of your application or registration, the general service scope and any known audit deadline. Where available, we can introduce your organisation to an approved quality auditor for a discussion and quotation. The auditor must confirm the audit scope and the work required.
The NDIS Commission maintains information about approved quality auditors. Check the receiving organisation against the current official list before engagement. Audit completion or an auditor’s recommendation does not itself guarantee a registration decision. Capital Referral Network does not conduct the audit or determine the result. You should receive the auditor’s engagement terms, fee details and information about independence, complaints and any additional charges directly from the auditor.
Verification audit discussions
Verification audits relate to the applicable registration requirements for lower risk or lower complexity supports. The actual requirement depends on the provider’s proposed or registered activities and the Commission’s current process. Share your available scope information with the proposed auditor through its secure intake so it can confirm the correct audit type. Do not assume that a business is eligible for verification because it describes its services as simple.
An approved quality auditor can explain the evidence it requires, its review process and how findings are managed. Ask whether the quote covers all relevant locations, registration groups and follow up work. The referral network does not assess your policies or certify that documents are sufficient. If you also want preparation help, identify that as a separate service and check whether using a consultant could create an independence issue for the proposed auditor.
