Privacy Policy

Keep the initial enquiry focused

Provide contact details and a short description of the service you want to discuss. Please do not
submit passwords, banking access details, full NDIS plans, identity documents or private clinical
records through a general enquiry. If further information is needed, ask why it is required and
how it will be handled before providing it.

Review a proposed disclosure

Before agreeing to an introduction, check the named receiving business, the purpose of contact
and the information proposed for sharing. If sensitive health or disability information is needed,
permission should address that information specifically. A general agreement to website terms
should not be treated as permission for unrelated disclosure.

Choose your communications

Optional marketing contact is a separate choice from receiving a referral service. You can
decline optional marketing and still make an enquiry. Tell us about a safe contact method and
any limits on when or through whom you want to be contacted. If you enquire for another
person, make sure you have appropriate authority and respect their preferences.

Ask to change or stop a referral

You can ask to correct enquiry information, change preferences or stop future introductions.
Withdrawal affects future activity and cannot undo information already shared. Ask who has
received your details so you can also contact that business about its own records. Privacy
concerns can be raised through the referral concern pathway. The privacy information
presented with the enquiry should identify the responsible operating entity and explain its
applicable handling practices.
